The original riveted ore cars were manufactured from the 1860’s into the mid 1950’s, when the welded design became more popular through the 1970’s. |

| Today, original mining cars are nearly impossible to find and can sell for thousands of dollars. These high caliber mining car replicas are built to the original design standards and lend themselves to many opportunities in the realm of antique collecting, landscaping, home decorating, garden railroading and commercial retail display. |

| Whether you refer to them as ore car or ore cart replicas, you will find them to exactly follow the original design used in Colorado mines in the late 1800’s. The detail is complete even to a 360 degree operating turntable, which allows the car to dump in any direction. Wheels are reproductions of an exclusive curved five spoke cast iron design. |

| All of our ore cars are antique looking and made of steel. These replicas are offered in three sizes, in either the welded or riveted construction, and are fully functional. Correct scale rail sections for display are also available for each size. Cars may also be customized to your specifications (please call for pricing on all custom items).

| The Scoop Car was popular in early small mines with low headroom, because it could be tilted down and loaded by scooping into it rather than having to shovel over the sides. Its turntable allows it to line up with the material to be loaded. |

End dump cars evolved from the time when miners first began to haul ore out of the mine with boxes on wheels. Advancements were made by adding an end gate to the
box and hinging the box to the wheel frame allowing one person to dump a heavy load. These replicas tilt, rotate and operate just like the original allowing for a variety of
attractive displays. |

| One type of many side dumping cars is called a Gable Car. Named for its floor being on two slopes which peak at the center.Side opening doors allow the ore to be dumped out each side. |

| We also manufacture replica ore buckets used on tramlines and shaft buckets, which make attractive planters for landscaping themes or display. Both types of buckets are available in either the riveted or welded style. These replicas are offered in two sizes. |
